Defense Ministry ready to help build houses in Iran – Social Media / Culture

Iranian Minister of Roads Rostam Qassemi paid a visit on Saturday to the “industrial construction plant”, belonging to the Ministry of Defense.

During the visit, Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani said the factory is manufacturing prefabricated steel buildings with modern technologies on an industrial scale.

Expressing the Defense Ministry’s willingness to help the Highways Ministry with housing projects, the general said the average age of new buildings had dropped from 30 to 100 years.

Buildings constructed with the new method are resistant to strong earthquakes and can be completed in just six months, six times sooner than regular methods, he added.

“The Ministry of Defense is ready to provide other institutions and organizations in charge of industrial construction technology with buildings. We have the capacity to establish such factories where and with all the necessary capacities ”, noted the Minister of Defense.

In September 2016, the leader of the Islamic revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, described general policies on the family, known as the cornerstone of Islamic society.

In the document, Ayatollah Khamenei said that all plans, regulations, educational and cultural programs as well as social and economic projects – especially housing and the urban development system – should pay special attention to the family.
