Jet2 flights from Edinburgh to Orange List countries restart from next week
Low-cost airline Jet2 readies its fleet for take off from Edinburgh Airport, as Scotland eases restrictions for international travelers.
From Monday, July 19, Scotland will move to Level 0 and, along with the further easing of restrictions, those who are fully vaccinated will no longer have to self-isolate upon returning from a country on the Amber List.
Jet2 has praised the adoption of this rule by Scotland and the following in the footsteps of the British government and calls it “a positive step”.
The airline industry has been hit hard over the past 16 months with many fleets forced to shutdown and this news allows some customers to go on vacations without quarantine.
