Love Island Scotswoman Laura Anderson tells Dubai half the price of London as she discusses new home, man and life there
Laura Anderson of Love Island claims that renting in Dubai is half the price she was paying in London when recounting her happiness during her new permanent move there.
The former flight attendant from Scotland spoke to fans in a Q and A about her new arrangement of living in Dubai and teased fans about her new man (Dane Bowers) who she has set up her home with .
Laura, who has yet to open up about her new love affair with the ex-Danish ex, told fans she came back to Dubai from Scotland because it looked better on her.
She said: “I just feel more like myself here and some of the business ideas I have are more suitable for me here and most of the time I can work from anywhere.
Laura was filmed poolside with Dane and her dog last week but has always kept her formal identity a secret in her questions and answers.
When asked if she was now living with someone, she replied, “Yes, I am what I think most of you know.
“Yeah, you’re not missing a thing, are you? Don’t ask me those questions. I can’t hold the water.”
Also asked if she would show off her new boyfriend, she said, “Patience is a virtue. I will soon, I promise.”
She teased, “‘Baby come over here they wanna see you’ before admitting her man was downstairs and added, ‘Give me like a week. “
When asked why she kept moving, Laura added, “Because I just love the stress of it all. No it’s not intentional. I guess I can and yes I just try. to find my accommodation. “
Laura then explained the apartment she was renting with her boyfriend.
She said, “No, we didn’t buy it. There used to be a thing about you only owning your house here for about 90 years, but I’m like, well, how long Do you live? I really don’t know.
She added: “The deposits are ok but this villa is huge. I only pay half of what I paid in London for an apartment lol. Also the market here is not like home.
“You can lose so much money on the property but we’ll probably buy the rent next year, you’re still losing money, right?”
Laura revealed that her furniture was shipped from Scotland on Monday and that she was much happier now.
She also said: “It’s so easy to meet people here, it’s such a sociable place, everyone is always out and everyone is alone in the same boat away from home so people are really looking forward to chatting with you.
“The guys are very up front too.”
The influencer also revealed that she has started her own clothing line called ‘Not Another Dress’ and a greeting card company and is learning how to be a DJ. “
