TalkTalk Partners with Amazon to Help Boost Your Internet Speeds
TalkTalk hopes to improve your broadband through a new partnership with Amazon. It may seem like a very strange combination with Amazon famous for shopping online and not speeding up internet speed in your home.
However, the retailer has a product that is only meant to boost broadband and TalkTalk is making it available to anyone who subscribes to its plans. The award-winning eero 6 and eero Pro 6 mesh routers will now ship to users as standard and they need to make sure every inch of your home has a strong connection.
If you didn’t already know, a mesh network allows you to place additional amplifiers around your house, which in turn improves the signal.
In addition to this internet transmission technology, eero also offers a dedicated mobile application that enables easy configuration, as well as network management and fault diagnosis, giving customers more control and visibility over the performance of their home network. .
There are also advanced parental controls so that customers can easily block websites for safe browsing, streaming, and social media use.

If you have a bunch of smart devices, the built-in Zigbee technology ensures that everything works seamlessly without the need for a separate hub.
If you own a mansion, you can add additional eero units which are all connected to make sure every room is covered by a signal.
Commenting on the new offering, Tristia Harrison, CEO of TalkTalk, said: “We always strive to provide our customers with the latest technology, superior speeds and reliable performance at an affordable price. Coupled with our ambitious and accelerated fiber optic deployment, our new relationship with Amazon eero is helping to make next-generation home Wi-Fi a reality. As the first major UK ISP to offer eero to its customers, we are delighted to be at the forefront of making UK leading fiber and Wi-Fi technology affordable for everyone.
As part of a phased rollout, eero 6 will be included as a standard mesh router for TalkTalk Future Fiber 150 plan customers and eero Pro 6 for Future Fiber 500 customers.
Customers will also benefit from speeds of up to 1 Gb supported by eero Pro 6 when TalkTalk launches gigabit-capable Future Fiber this fall.
For customers needing additional coverage, they will be able to order additional eero devices to create a mesh network from £ 89 (RRP £ 139).
And from September, there will be a monthly payment option for additional eero devices – with up to two additional eeros for just £ 6 per month.
